  • Evil known as monument to the Spaniards, when actually called monument to the Magna Charter and the four Argentine regions. It was boscetado in 1909, on the occasion of the Centennial Republic and donated by the Spanish people resident in the Argentina. He had innumerable delays and delays. The basal stone was placed in in 1910, with the assistance of Isabel de Bordón, aunt of Alfonso XIII Rey de España. Major delays were because died on sculptors responsible for the work, but then sank a boat, coming from Barcelona, where they come numerous sculptures in marble and bronze and where 450 people were killed. Since 2011 is illuminated with led light, with numerous colour options. At its top is a statue of the Republic and a huge fountain at the foot. On your side there are allegories to the 4 regions: Los Andes, El Río de la Plata, La Pampa and Chaco in bronze. Attached pictures, did you useful?

  • It's a beautiful monument, with interesting details. For those who live in city full of vandals, it takes a shock to see a city so beautiful and well kept and clean monuments.
