  • Sailing Lake is located in the area called the parks of Palermo, is part of a landscape design of Carlos Thays, an architect, naturalist, landscape architect, urbanist, writer and French journalist who developed all its activity in Argentina. As Director of parks and tours of the city of Buenos aires between 1891 and 1920 he created and design this beautiful artificial lake in the basement of the Belgrano neighborhood. An ideal space to walk, relax, picnic or go bicycling. What you can do is slip into the water that is dangerous, by the depth of the Lake and the amount of algae in fresh water that make it dangerous to swim there. In addition are forbidden to do so because it is considered that the water is not suitable. Worth shop around one evening to enjoy the "magic hour", when low sun to behold the Golden gleam of the Sun on the water. Geese approaching a dozen to eat what the visitors are famous will deliver you.

  • The place is ideal to go to mate or just a picnic looking Lake. I recommend finding a place on the Riviera this, so you aprovechás the Sun the most.

  • It is our favorite with my girlfriend in Palermo. Much more tranquil than the area of the rose garden. It was remodeled 1 year ago with more grass, nice sidewalks and streets for walking, rollear or running. It has 2 bathrooms clean equidistant. A lot of shade and some places to eat step that goes from a bondiola or for the more healthy there is sale of nuts and squeezed from Orange. You can reach the ecobici until the old zoo and from there walk quite a way but all for area parks or collective to the Planetarium. The weekend cut in streets where you can park.

Where to stay in Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires offers an impressive selection of budget-friendly and mid-range lodgings, as well as pricier, more luxurious options for visitors who don't mind splashing out. Good rooms are scattered across town, but your best bet for economical hostels remains San Telmo, a neighborhood on the edge of downtown. For boutique establishments and international five-star hotels, head to Palermo, Recoleta, or Puerto Madero, upscale neighborhoods drawing the majority of foreign visitors.
