Inspirock Rating:
3/5 based on 3,400+ reviews on the web
Home to the famous Caminito alleyway gallery and La Bombonera football stadium, La Boca has a reputation forged on two major tourist attractions. Make your way straight to Caminito and appreciate the dazzling colors of the buildings around you, then head to the stadium for a behind-the-scenes tour. Apart from those two attractions, you'll struggle to find much else of interest in the largely industrial neighborhood. Visit during the day, as the area has a seedy reputation at night. • This is a really great place to see. The neighborhood has a nostalgic feeling. The stadium is a must see. Walk around, eat a little bit, enjoy the view and buy some souvenirs.
  • The peripheral district is quite different from other neighborhoods of the city. It seems more alive, more full of energy. The footballing climate throughout the neighborhood and, when you get out of the tourist streets between the caminito and the bombonera, you can feel the energy different from the neighborhood. Although many speak of the lack of security there, walked quietly and didn't feel insecure.

  • The neighborhood of La Boca cannot be regarded as one of the safest places in town, so don't be fooling around. Taking a taxi to points of interest such as the stadium, the Caminito or some of the great restaurants such as El Obrero.
