  • I went to the night of the museums 2017 and stayed with my mouth open. I was able to visit the Museum and the Church. All completely free, this time

  • Behind the Plaza Colombia, the Church Santa Felicitas which keeps a great history is located. Recommend access to the Church and the Museum. It is located in one of the most central areas of the neighborhood of Barracas, a few blocks of San Telmo and La Boca.

  • Cute point stop on a walk around the neighborhood. Endorsements make a walking tour can be known a little district than in 1800 prior to the epidemic of yellow fever abounded in residences of wealthy families, and places where the workers of the nearby port sweated his salary.

  • Highly recommended visit night at the Museum Santa Felicitas. There can be a trip to the past reliving the life of Felicitas Guerrero, its history, its tragic death as well as life was at that time. They have an exhibition of antique objects from the 1870 / 1910 approximately. The visit ends at the temple hidden with a tasting of wine, stew and music live. The Church, the school which bears the name of Santa Felicitas along with the Plaza Colombia are part of the complex historical Santa Felicitas.

  • I loved it very cute, indeed, the very beautiful but it would be very good that is open to the public every day and if they will be charged to be the tourist, to outsiders not wing people in the neighborhood and around. That is I say.

  • It was erected in memory of Felicitas Guerrero de Alzaga, a young widow of a wealthy family, who died tragically in the place. The Church was inaugurated on 30 January 1876 and construction was carried out by the architect Ernesto Bunge. The work is eclectic style while its facade is reminiscent of neo-Gothic and neorromanicas. The interior is a single nave with transept and dome, and is noted for the richness of its decoration in which highlight the marbles, stuccoes and paintings of merit. The main altar, the sides and the pulpit are polychrome masonry. The chapel has three altars, in the high altar is the image of our Lady of the Rosary, on the left side the image of Santa Felicitas martyr, and on the right the image of San Martín de Tours. The stained glass windows are of French origin and Spanish mosaic floor.

Where to stay in Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires offers an impressive selection of budget-friendly and mid-range lodgings, as well as pricier, more luxurious options for visitors who don't mind splashing out. Good rooms are scattered across town, but your best bet for economical hostels remains San Telmo, a neighborhood on the edge of downtown. For boutique establishments and international five-star hotels, head to Palermo, Recoleta, or Puerto Madero, upscale neighborhoods drawing the majority of foreign visitors.
