  • I went to the concert of Jamiroquai. All very well organized, a wide area, with good views and food. Very good sound.

  • Love this place, but I noticed on this trip that the place has started to go downhill a bit. The bathrooms weren't clean; there was no soap in bathrooms, and many of the machines didn't work properly or had broken parts or buttons. Still a good time, just surprised about upkeep.
  • For me, a racetrack should be like Palermo -- a good track needs to have some kind of tradition behind it .. in the buildings, in the trees and grass, in the amenities for guests, If it is just a big cash register with old hags and bums lining the fence hoping their 50 cent bet will pay off a thousand bucks, it's a bummer. Only good track is a pretty track. I have spoken! :) Cheers.
  • Classic horse race track with waiters in white jackets who bring you your drinks and a beautiful central building forming the main stands. Racing several days/nights a week, low entry fee and thus well worth a visit
  • The perefect place to enjoy food festival while seeing horses races
  • Very nice neighborhood. Food & fun unlimited.

Where to stay in Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires offers an impressive selection of budget-friendly and mid-range lodgings, as well as pricier, more luxurious options for visitors who don't mind splashing out. Good rooms are scattered across town, but your best bet for economical hostels remains San Telmo, a neighborhood on the edge of downtown. For boutique establishments and international five-star hotels, head to Palermo, Recoleta, or Puerto Madero, upscale neighborhoods drawing the majority of foreign visitors.
