Shopping Mall
Partake in some local retail therapy at Galeria Guemes, a small shopping center steeped in provincial history. The charming colonial structure was built in art nouveau style by Italian architect Francisco Gianotti in 1913. Today the galeria's ornately sculpted interior houses a range of local businesses, with everything from perfume stands to hardware stores. Take the elevator to the top of the building for panoramic views of the city. Arrange to visit Galeria Guemes and other attractions in Buenos Aires using our Buenos Aires vacation route planner.

  • Wonderful building. So well preserved! Really worth visiting.
  • a very nice experience.
  • Beautiful mall
  • Great to see the city from above with the domes. It's one of the things I miss in Buenos Aires: see the city from above. In this case, the Gallery is an option, but with the limitations of having to pay (it's cheap, it's worth going at least once) and not be able to stay as long as you want. The visitor is guided, the guide knows a lot, it is true, and fills you with rich stories over the city centre.

  • Excellent views. You can appreciate the beautiful architecture of the city center is a special way. The building is historic and has access to a terrace by a time spiral staircase. Very good. Sale 50 pesos arg and did not appear to me to be expensive.
