  • This beautiful sculpture group and its author, suffered the scorn of an strongly discriminatory society. The representation of mythological figures such as Venus, the Nereids and the triptones were by his nakedness, widely criticized and it was up to doubt that a female sculpted them. The work that should be located where today is the pyramid of may, finally occupied (marginal for the time) somewhere on the South coast. He is today considered a masterpiece of monumental sculpture. It deserves to be visited.

  • Beautiful Fountain, exponent of the art in Buenos Aires. Seeing it in detail is to discover it a thousand times, always different.

  • It is a very nice Memorial, but which never ceases to amaze more than other monuments. The good thing is that it seems that it is in action.

  • Beautiful sculpture
  • Beautiful work by Lola Mora, woman of deep argentina sensibility that left a rich legacy for deacubrir. The Nereid witnessing the birth of the goddess Venus would be in the very centre of the Argentina, where is located the pyramid of may but the misunderstanding and the prejudice of 1903 prevented it. Lola left open the future reflection: "each one sees in a work of art what beforehand is in his spirit; angel or demon are always fighting in the eyes of man. I've not crossed the ocean in order to offend the decency of my people (...). I regret deeply what is happening but not warn these expressions of condemnation - call him any way-pure voice and noble from this town. And that is what I would be interested to hear; of it I hope the last bug." It is worth to see them, knowing their history and what they represent.
