Eva Peron's Tomb, Buenos Aires

(2.3/5 based on 340+ reviews on the web)
Visit the final resting place of one of history's most famous first ladies at Eva Peron's Tomb. Covered in flowers, the tomb is actually one of the more modest in this cemetery that contains the graves of many of the country's presidents, poets, and business people. Listed under family name Duarte, Eva's grave is a pilgrimage site for many, with plenty of tourists and locals surrounding it throughout the day. Ask a guide at the entrance for a map or join a tour, as the tomb can be fairly hard to locate on this huge site. Put Eva Peron's Tomb and other Buenos Aires attractions into our Buenos Aires trip builder, and watch your holiday take shape.

  • Evita's grave is in the cemetery of the Recoleta, is one of the busiest tourist attractions of Buenos Aires, full of tourists and student groups. Most tourists end up just going to visit the grave of Evita, is crowded and take a picture there is well played! Recommend for a ride to see other tombs and gravestones, worth spending 1 hour tops, after a while it gets boring, after all it's just tomb and coffin. If you don't know the stories of the place, it's not funny to go there! Also recommend taking a look at the history of other characters to make it more interesting to visit. In addition, Rufina Cambaceres, Avoid has the girl who died twice. It also has the story of David Alito, the gravedigger who committed suicide to debut his own tomb, it was chic to be buried there.
