Eva Peron's Tomb, Buenos Aires

Categories: Cemeteries, Tourist Spots
Inspirock Rating:
2.2/5 based on 300+ reviews on the web
Visit the final resting place of one of history's most famous first ladies at Eva Peron's Tomb. Covered in flowers, the tomb is actually one of the more modest in this cemetery that contains the graves of many of the country's presidents, poets, and business people. Listed under family name Duarte, Eva's grave is a pilgrimage site for many, with plenty of tourists and locals surrounding it throughout the day. Ask a guide at the entrance for a map or join a tour, as the tomb can be fairly hard to locate on this huge site. Put Eva Peron's Tomb and other Buenos Aires attractions into our Buenos Aires trip builder, and watch your holiday take shape.

  • Visit the mausoleum of Eva Perón and the cemetery itself is quite an experience in Recoleta. Best if it is guided, in particular, for those who don't know their history. In addition to this tomb, there are many others with interesting stories. Preferably a cloudy day, not much heat. The cemetery is not too large, but both cement and stone multiplied the strength of the Sun in the tour.
