El Museo Casa Carlos Gardel, Buenos Aires

Specialty Museum
Fans of Argentine tango music should head to El Museo Casa Carlos Gardel to find out more about the life of this nationally loved genre's most famed figure. Situated in Gardel's old house, the museum traces the singer's life through photos, records, and newspaper clippings, in addition to giving a glimpse into his day-to-day life. While an interesting diversion from the hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires, the memorabilia here will be best appreciated by big fans of Gardel's work; general visitors may find it of less interest. It couldn't be easier to arrange your visit to El Museo Casa Carlos Gardel and many more Buenos Aires attractions: make an itinerary online using Inspirock's Buenos Aires tour planner.

  • The Museum is a must for those who want to see some more of the story of one of the most important people in Argentine history. The voice of the country and of tango, in its legitimate place, with various personal objects of the musician. For those who like to tango, it's must-see, even if it's a small place.
