El Museo Casa Carlos Gardel, Buenos Aires
(3.5/5 based on 120+ reviews on the web)
Fans of Argentine tango music should head to El Museo Casa Carlos Gardel to find out more about the life of this nationally loved genre's most famed figure. Situated in Gardel's old house, the museum traces the singer's life through photos, records, and newspaper clippings, in addition to giving a glimpse into his day-to-day life. While an interesting diversion from the hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires, the memorabilia here will be best appreciated by big fans of Gardel's work; general visitors may find it of less interest. • This museum, located in the Abasto district, is located in the same house where Carlos Gardel and his mother lived. Sample of gardelian universe very neat way. Objects, instruments, documents and the eternal voice of Buenos Aires. During the year are very interesting musical recitals, usually with artists almost unknown to the mass audience but of high quality. You should go. Well attended by foreigners.

  • The price of entry is almost negligible, and their staff, helpful. Has some personal objects, such as radio, piano and typewriter. The collection is not as Rico, because it is a big house. Some parts can be restored, but all in all, worth a visit for that represents Carlos Gardel.

I who loves small for my was a nice walk. Day Wednesday is free and if you wish can contribute with a bonus contribution for the maintenance of the place.
