El Museo Casa Carlos Gardel, Buenos Aires

(3.5/5 based on 130+ reviews on the web)
Fans of Argentine tango music should head to El Museo Casa Carlos Gardel to find out more about the life of this nationally loved genre's most famed figure. Situated in Gardel's old house, the museum traces the singer's life through photos, records, and newspaper clippings, in addition to giving a glimpse into his day-to-day life. While an interesting diversion from the hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires, the memorabilia here will be best appreciated by big fans of Gardel's work; general visitors may find it of less interest. • Interesting place for lovers of tango the House where lived the famous tango singer Carlos gardel in the Abasto neighbourhood in calle anchorena. We can see various documents, see some of his films en video, objects such as the headboard of your bed and original scores.

  • The Museum is a must for those who want to see some more of the story of one of the most important people in Argentine history. The voice of the country and of tango, in its legitimate place, with various personal objects of the musician. For those who like to tango, it's must-see, even if it's a small place.
