  • Even if you don't have an architectural style that is remarkable, its large size and the fact of having been in the middle of Avenida 9 de Julio transformed it into an icon of this. Also remarkable is the image of the face of Eva Perón, on the side of the building, which stands out from far away, and, especially at night when it is illuminated. No need to reach the building itself as seen from Avenida de Mayo and even from the Obelisk.

  • You can access public information from the Ministry of Social development by means of documents, reports and records. They provide quantitative data of services and facilities, without giving detailed information about the people who receive direct Ministry support, such as established by the 25.326 law of protection of personal data.

  • A historic and emblematic building in Buenos Aires. On the face it the open Cabildo was mounted on August 22, 1951. In principle he would announce the candidacy Peron - Eva Perón, however, with opposition from the military and after meeting avoids the cancer that had ended giving up the Vice-Presidency. This renunciation is what is represented on the north face, a demanding avoids looking at the area of Buenos Aires. However, the South side shows a smiling avoids facing the humble neighborhoods of the city.

Where to stay in Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires offers an impressive selection of budget-friendly and mid-range lodgings, as well as pricier, more luxurious options for visitors who don't mind splashing out. Good rooms are scattered across town, but your best bet for economical hostels remains San Telmo, a neighborhood on the edge of downtown. For boutique establishments and international five-star hotels, head to Palermo, Recoleta, or Puerto Madero, upscale neighborhoods drawing the majority of foreign visitors.
