  • In the neighborhood of Monserrat, on Belgrano Street and defense is the Basilica of our Lady of the Rosary one of the more known for its antiquity, the preservation of its structure and its history. It was built in the 17TH century. Also known as the convent of Santo Domingo and in front is the mausoleum of Manuel Belgrano. In the second British invasion, the Church and the convent were scene of fighting. Living the Dominican order in the convent. Today is a Museum and is very pleasant guided tour, that's the General direction of heritage, museums and historic part of the Government of the town offers free tours. Do not lose hours: every day, from 9.00 to 13.00 h and from 16.30 to 20.30 h.

Where to stay in Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires offers an impressive selection of budget-friendly and mid-range lodgings, as well as pricier, more luxurious options for visitors who don't mind splashing out. Good rooms are scattered across town, but your best bet for economical hostels remains San Telmo, a neighborhood on the edge of downtown. For boutique establishments and international five-star hotels, head to Palermo, Recoleta, or Puerto Madero, upscale neighborhoods drawing the majority of foreign visitors.
