  • In the Microcentro there is this beautiful redoubt with a small entrance which makes it go completely unnoticed. Either to sit to contemplate this beautiful site either to opt for any of its dining options, is a must-attend event

  • I did not find evidence of the date in which the construction of the convent had started. But it had to be contemporary with the Church. Thus seems to indicate it creation, in 1722, by the Council, two elementary schools, one of which had seat in the Convento de la Merced, and construction, in 1728, three classrooms for the teaching of higher education (grammar, philosophy and theology) educational service for students of the order, but also open to secular students. Presents a courtyard where there is a chapel which are pregnant for his blessing, the Rosary is prayed and celebrations are carried out at San Ramon Nonato. The halls are used for lectures, workshops and theater, among other cultural activities. And, in the main cloister, the Providence Provincial Curia is located.

  • Unique place surrounded by charming architecture, recommended to clear the mind, and removed from the hustle and bustle of the capital.

  • A different place to everything which is located in the downtown area. The places of food and sale of Antiquities. Good for escape from noise for a while.

  • It is the only green lung that is downtown! The food is good but the Executive menu is a bit pricey: 245pesos. Also has a legend that the minimum consumption is 140

Where to stay in Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires offers an impressive selection of budget-friendly and mid-range lodgings, as well as pricier, more luxurious options for visitors who don't mind splashing out. Good rooms are scattered across town, but your best bet for economical hostels remains San Telmo, a neighborhood on the edge of downtown. For boutique establishments and international five-star hotels, head to Palermo, Recoleta, or Puerto Madero, upscale neighborhoods drawing the majority of foreign visitors.
