Congreso, Buenos Aires

(3.9/5 based on 800+ reviews on the web)
Begun in 1898 and completed in 1906, the national landmark of Congreso houses the Congress of Argentina. Built in the neoclassical style, the stately building stands on the Calle de Mayo. Outside, inspect the exterior's aesthetic touches added by Argentinian artists. You can take a tour of the inside, which shows you such historical spaces as the pink room, where women's suffrage was debated. If planning to take the tour, check before you go: they offer English tours only on certain days. Make Congreso a part of your Buenos Aires vacation plans using our Buenos Aires itinerary builder.

  • If you are in Buenos Aires is one of the buildings that should be fun to see. Highlights its dome of copper.

  • Is historic. The architecture is beautiful and is very clean. Great place to meet and take pictures. Worth checking out closely. Has visitation.

  • It was the third time that it was going to Buenos Aires and had not had the opportunity to go and see it. So on December 31 after eating went through there. It is in the neighborhood of Monserrat. You lack a bit of cleaning but by that not leave of be a building impressive. Began to build in 1897, and although it opened in 1906 was not completed until 1946. The dome is 80 meters, and is one of the largest in the city. There are guided tours every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (10, 12, 16 and 18) you can fill a guided tour request form on your web page (if someone wants to go). Deserves the pena visit it, already is by inside... or by outside.

  • Uma excelente pizzaria ao melhor estilo argentino. Bastante massa e um queijo delicioso. Caso gostes de pizzas finas, há outros locais que serão melhores para você. O atendimento é bom, mas o preço não é tão convidativo.
