Centro Naval, Buenos Aires

(4.5/5 based on 100+ reviews on the web)
Those interested in Buenos Aires' naval history will appreciate Centro Naval, a club set up by young Argentine Navy officers in 1882 as a place for recreation, relaxation, and exchange of ideas. Outside the building, pause to take in its opulent neoclassical architecture, with richly detailed windows, pillars, and roof. Note that entrance is allowed only on select days, and even then you won't get further than the lobby of this members-only club. • European memories daughter architecture, interesting use in rusticated façade of strong and curved corner project solution. Visit at least the atrium.

  • On the sixth floor of the traditional building of Florida and Cordoba, the restaurant is well decorated, with good separation between the tables. The menu offers options of fixed price menus, where the menu, at a good price, you can make either fixed at even lower cost. Many concurrency, perhaps because it was close to Christmas, but not noisy at all. My friends asked for dishes of chicken, and I one of pasta, well prepared, at its point. The moza was very friendly. The dessert cart was not changed, but had the basic options, I'll be back.

  • Impressive building French-style lounges, some private and others open to the public, as the sixth stage, living wreaths, become an excellent restaurant for lunch, with very good attention, service and prices. Domingo F. Sarmiento, the downstairs lounge, open for events and the first floor, for concerts that are held during the year. All the spaces, impeccable. There are guided tours.
