Centro Naval, Buenos Aires
(4.4/5 based on 95 reviews on the web)
Those interested in Buenos Aires' naval history will appreciate Centro Naval, a club set up by young Argentine Navy officers in 1882 as a place for recreation, relaxation, and exchange of ideas. Outside the building, pause to take in its opulent neoclassical architecture, with richly detailed windows, pillars, and roof. Note that entrance is allowed only on select days, and even then you won't get further than the lobby of this members-only club.
