  • Since my grandfather used to play polo, he loved going there alone or with family members. Then he started taking me with him from an early age and managed to establish unique bond between the two of us. I have only good memories about the Abierto and, every year, I try to go at least once. I highly recommend it to anyone in Buenos Aires, local or tourist
  • Went to the festival de parrillas. It was a really nice day. Very well organized. Lots of food options
  • I really think you should go to a polo match if you're a tourist in BA. The atmosphere's great, the teams are the best in the world, and the grounds/facilities themselves are very nice.
  • If it's a nice day and there is a polo game stroll around a bit. Really nice place even if you have no idea about polo.
  • Amazing fields, very clean space and excellent routes surrounding. I was enjoying the 200th birthday of Argentina and it was a pleasure to enjoy this place.

Where to stay in Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires offers an impressive selection of budget-friendly and mid-range lodgings, as well as pricier, more luxurious options for visitors who don't mind splashing out. Good rooms are scattered across town, but your best bet for economical hostels remains San Telmo, a neighborhood on the edge of downtown. For boutique establishments and international five-star hotels, head to Palermo, Recoleta, or Puerto Madero, upscale neighborhoods drawing the majority of foreign visitors.
