Calle Florida, Buenos Aires

(2.4/5 based on 2,800+ reviews on the web)
Known for its chaotic mix of high-end retailers and street hawkers, Calle Florida makes for an interesting Buenos Aires shopping spree. The pedestrianized street, just north of the central Plaza de Mayo, has gained a worldwide reputation for its slightly dubious "unofficial money exchangers," who call out "cambio" in Spanish as you pass. Keep walking north of Avenue Cordoba and you'll suddenly find a host of leather shops, offering distinctive locally made products. Take a moment to appreciate many talented street performers on your walk. Put Calle Florida into our Buenos Aires trip itinerary builder and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

  • It is simply a street full of shops and travel agencies. I didn't think big things! The advantage is that it has WiFi throughout your extension

  • Visit Florida has left of be a spectacular ride to convert is in something boring and without them attractive of makes 20 years. Any place of this megacity competes and wins at length. Both in building trade and Amusement attractions. This place has been a pitiful decline.

  • Is a central and famous street of Buenos Aires where you have a boardwalk with shops on both sides of everything you need to buy in terms of electronic accessories clothes. In one of the blocks is a Pacific Mall Gallery old and pretty much interesting to visit
