  • I've known her since childhood. Vivia front on defense. He played ball in its Atrium. Beautiful church and Chapel San roque. Inside, it is beautiful. Know him fetching the ball... has a patio colonial style with pergola and Bedbug grape vine... fond memories. Now in repair by the City Government.

  • Under restoration.
  • Very beautiful and impressive churches.
  • There is a historical town that concentrates the churches representing three emblematic orders that were installed in the early days of the city: the Jesuits, Dominicans, and Franciscans. The latter ordered the construction of a Basilica in the year 1731, which was inaugurated in 1754. Little remains of its original structure at the beginning of the 17TH century it was rebuilt, and in 1911 the German architect Ernesto Sackman completely changed its facade which is which currently maintains. He replaced the neoclassical style that defined its exterior by a loaded ornamentation Baroque profile and contrast with the austerity of its interior. In the middle of it stands the figure of Saint Francis of Assisi in the Centre, accompanied by three images: the kneeling is Cristóbal Colón, which is above the Colon is Giotto, and the one on the left is Dante Alighieri. The three were considered to be deserving of this place have been secular Franciscans. In 1955, a fire caused the destruction of the main altar with the altarpiece. The task of its restoration decided the placement on it, of a vast and impressive tapestry. One of the largest in the world (8 x 12 m) is considered, is the work of artist Horacio Butler and bears the name of "The glorification of San Francisco". The Atrium is shared with the chapel of San Roque (adjacent to the Basilica di San Francesco), which opens the 16th of each month to celebrate the Patron Saint. It is a small chapel of a single nave which was built at the beginning of the 17TH century.

Buenos Aires offers an impressive selection of budget-friendly and mid-range lodgings, as well as pricier, more luxurious options for visitors who don't mind splashing out. Good rooms are scattered across town, but your best bet for economical hostels remains San Telmo, a neighborhood on the edge of downtown. For boutique establishments and international five-star hotels, head to Palermo, Recoleta, or Puerto Madero, upscale neighborhoods drawing the majority of foreign visitors.
