Banco de la Nacion Argentina, Buenos Aires

3.5/5 based on 240+ reviews on the web
You can do more than just apply for a home loan at Banco de la Nacion Argentina. Admire this ornate, imposing building (headquarters of Argentina's national bank) from both outside and in. The 1940s structure features a dome spanning a diameter of 50 m (164 ft), marble-lined floors, and decadent wood trimmings, all exuding lavish wealth. In fact, many Argentines resent the bank for this very reason, given the many economic crises it has failed to protect them from over the past century. Snap some pictures outside, and feel free to enter for views of the light-filled interior. Put Banco de la Nacion Argentina into our Buenos Aires trip builder and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.
