Avenida Corrientes, Buenos Aires
(3.9/5 based on 1,600+ reviews on the web)
Feel the passion of tango culture in the air as you stroll down Avenida Corrientes, known to locals as "the street that never sleeps." The avenue's long-held reputation for throbbing nightlife has tied it to the tango culture, so much so that plaques have been laid at 40 of its street corners to celebrate the most influential figures in tango history. The city's cultural hub, the area boasts an abundance of bookshops and theaters, drawing comparisons with Broadway in New York. Pop in to one of the avenue's theaters for a live performance with a distinctly spicy, Argentinean touch. • Very interesting street by the amount of libraries, theatres, restaurants and shops in general. It is quite safe to walk by it.

  • I like to walk down the street running. Not only there are any number of offers for shows and theatre, but also libraries where you can stay late into the night reading and choosing titles or old posters in billboard. Kiosks, there are good deals in books and magazines, some with promotions up to movies. They recommend a block from pizzeria guerrin have a position that faces the street where you can buy cheaper t-shirts in souvenir you can take gift.
