Tourist Spot Educational Site
Participate in a tango workshop, or experience a live dance performance complete with live music at Academia Nacional del Tango. The academy, founded in the late 1800’s by tango lyricist Horacio Ferrer, preserves a number of tango memorabilia ranging from bandoneons to posters and awards. Be aware that there is no written information in English so understanding the significance of the collections could be a challenge, however, tango workshops have instructors who do know basic English.
