Enjoy a shopping experience steeped in local history at Abasto Shopping. The distinctive arched building, once the site of a bustling open-air market that operated from 1893 to 1984, has served as a large shopping mall since 1999. Hunt for something special at the mall's various boutiques, or catch a movie at the large theater complex. Delight the kids with a visit to El Museo de los Ninos, a specialty children's museum on the third floor of the building. For travelers who use our custom trip planner, Buenos Aires holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Abasto Shopping and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • It's a big Mall with good marks. I visited on a rainy day, a good tip to not miss a day of sightseeing! Better than Pacific Gallery to buy, the shops are cheaper brands, allowing for a more reasonable price. The old building and quirky impresses seen outside, is of good size and has a very good. Recommend for purchase if you take a day of promotion as I got. Worth the visit

  • Large shopping mall located in central Buenos Aires and that offers a good range of shops and restaurants in its food court. Like many others. Easily accessed by Carlos Gardel subway station.
