  • Church of Na Sra de la Merced (Cathedral) - 72 Sarmiento its name refers to the patron saint of the Archdiocese of the city, Redeemer of the captive Christians. In 1900 was inaugurated but it was partially finished at the time. The belfry is added in 1903 and between 1916 and 1920 the two aisles. In 1929 the belfry is enabled and adds the watch. Therein lies the urn containing the remains of the Colonel's Infantería Ramón Bernabé Estomba, founder of the Fort which he called "Fortaleza Protectora Argentina" is a national historic landmark

  • My nephew was baptized here. A cathedral sober, beautiful, large but not sooo big and visually attractive. Back (is entered by a gate to the side on the same street) are the classrooms of catechesis and lounges. Very nice everything! This opposite the main square

  • Dates from 1834 (built by orders of Juan Manuel de Rosas). Dedicated to Nuestra Señora de la Merced, patron of the captive Christians. Its facade was put in value in 2010 with funds from the nation. Note the flush, the recomposition of molding on the inside of the tempo, the repair of the granite tile and granite black guards. The marble of Carrara of your floor, steps and lining also shines! I loved it! A national historic landmark.
