  • The excursion to the Salar de Antofalla includes several points along the way. I recommend going with a guide. From the rock, comes out at 8 and turns to the 19 approx. It is an incredible landscape. THE salar, the eyes of water, volcanoes, sand. The sun goes down and the colors change. I also recommend going with guide with car, not their own, because there are several parts very hard. Crossing the salt from the North is easy, but in the South it is full of wells. Flying stones. It is ideal for those who like adventure tourism and the challenges. The village of Antofalla, hidden in the mountains, seems a story. For me, the best ride of Catamarca. It's worth the time.

  • This salar is located more than 4500 meters above sea level. It is a unique panorama with incredible views. We ate in Antofalla, a community of no more than 40 people that we have school supplies, warm clothing and toys for children. A very good experience since we help those people who live in the middle of the mountains and quite isolated. Children and adults we were greeted with much affection and deliver them as detailed above and were very grateful... A beautiful walk to make trucks 4 x 4 quad or motorcycles, in our case on ATVs.
