  • The Creek joins Cafayate with Cachi in a route approximately 160 km route 40, which will require at least 4 hours to their journey. Departing from Cafayate moves by Animaná and San Carlos on asphalt. Then begins the gravel and the landscape begins to make his own, slowly rock formations of different colors and shapes appear on both sides by kilometers, the bends are countless. Then Yes, the Gorge of the arrows (Angastaco Natural Monument), appears imposing before passing through Angastaco, you look at. Formations that appear whimsically embedded at 45 ° are scattered for kilometers and the landscape becomes simply indescribable. Impossible not to stop to observe that Marvel several times along the journey. Then pass by Mills, Seclantás (birthplace of Salta poncho) and where Don Alejo Diaz will be ready, it's time that is, to prepare some empanadas for the road, and thus finally reach Cachi. Each village mentioned in this tour deserves a separate comment, but today it's up to a magical place: the Gorge of the arrows!

  • Cachi road to Cafayate, 180km of gravel road in good condition. Preferably do so in van to not destroy the car.

  • On ruta 40, between Cachi and Cafayate. We left Cachi and at the beginning it looked like it wouldn't be worth walking down that dirt road, only a few people living in the desert with their plantations of "Peppers" drying in the Sun suddenly begin to see those sensational landscapes that each 15 km change to another even better. One of the most beautiful roads I've ever seen in my life.
