  • Angastaco is a village very boy, and not usually be included in the guides tourist. If you are looking for a hotel or take a wine you should be Cafayate or jumps. But if looking for know it jumps deep you should be visit and tour the nooks and crannies of Angastaco. Place unique and bargains.

  • Unfortunately, we got a rain day for this tour. One hour driving from Salta to's Carril, there you have to choose whether to route 68 along Quebradas de las conchas (tarred) or turn in the route 33 through the National Park with cacti along then the route 40 (gravel road) along the Quebrada de las flechas. The road 33 of Salta by the Cordones in the National Park with the Giant Saguaro cacti was paved only in the Park, there track with tight turns the height on 3400 meters. It takes nerves of steel for the 10-stündige drive from Salta to Cafayate. The landscapes are spectacular, but only really under Sun and blue sky! Against a backdrop of black clouds, everything appears threatening and of course, the colors. Prior to Cachi on Route 40 just dirt road and up to San Carlos also often corrugated-Tin Street, often close (3 m wide) slopes, poorly visible in the curves. You need a spirit of adventure! The really spectacular section is located between Angastoca and San Carlos, huge rock formations, and sloped, jagged rocks. You can refuel only in Cachi, otherwise there is no Internet access kiosks or anything. Every 5-10 min comes one car against. You have this sloping landscape virtually to own. I would like to have there no accident! Since no one helps. Spare wheel before check-in. End of November temperatures were between 6 degrees Celsius on the top of 3400 meters in the Park and 15 degrees below in the Valley in Cafayate. Cold!

  • they are 160 km. route approx. 40 Cachi from Cafayate and are made in 5 hours. Except the last few kms, the rest don't feel nothing to do endless. Being gravel and Earth, going at a speed approx. 30 mph said, the journey is spectacular, indescribable. Stay short with adjectives. At times it seems a lunar landscape or where Star Wars was filmed. We did it in a Corsa rented and didn't have any problems on the tour. There is a detour can be taken along the road of the artisans and there you see as on the side of the road are the looms making ponchos etc etc. Recommend thousand times.
