Explore 20 million years of natural history at Quebrada de Las Flechas - Angastaco, a ravine known for its steep cliffs and interesting rock formations. Named after the rocks rising from the ground like arrows, the area offers scenic views and great photo opportunities. Drive up to the ravine on the picturesque Route 40, which gets narrower and narrower as you approach the site. Depending on the time of day, the naturally occurring formations change color, ranging from red to yellowish ochre. A narrow trail leads to a lookout point offering priceless views of the gorge and surrounding area.
