  • The best place to appreciate the beauty of the place is Piedra Pintada. You can park on the side of the road (left if you are coming from the city of Aluminé). It is very picturesque and you can approach stepped Lake 100 meters to have elevated views that invite you to take beautiful photos of the same. You can also climb to the rock formations that give name to the place. Somewhere I read that there are cave paintings, but I did not find them. It is a visit that can be done as part of the circuit Pehuenia, which then continues with Lakes Ñorquinco, Moquehue and Aluminé. Beautiful place not to be missed.

  • Met it this winter, it is very beautiful, I think that in summer you can enjoy a bit more, because there are activities from rafting and camping nearby. Is that you can fish. The water of the cabins came from a natural spring of this Lake.

  • Is a very good alternative to take the RP11 by Moquehue route from Villa Pehuenia to Aluminé; It is rather longer route than the RP23, but the views of nothing to do, several lakes, forests of araucarias, immense walls of mountains, worth seeing... While the Lake is so cute like others in the area, he stressed not much to me.
