Lago Alumine, Alumine

For an outback experience in Argentina, head to Lago Alumine, a remote lake situated in the picturesque Alumine National Park. While exploring the surrounding area, you can meet the native Mapuche that inhabit the reserve and try out many outdoor activities, including camping, sailing, fishing, kayaking, picnicking, and swimming. For something a bit more authentic, rent a horse from the Mapuche community and go riding around the lake. • An exciting place. It is surrounded by unspoiled nature. Fresh air, silence and contemplation of the landscape.

  • We move from road to Villa Pehuenia by Alumine for the side and although there were lots of ice on the road, is easy to move safe. The views are very nice and it connects with Lake Moquehue via a narrowness in the area of Villa Pehuenia. Very nice!
