For an outback experience in Argentina, head to Lago Alumine, a remote lake situated in the picturesque Alumine National Park. While exploring the surrounding area, you can meet the native Mapuche that inhabit the reserve and try out many outdoor activities, including camping, sailing, fishing, kayaking, picnicking, and swimming. For something a bit more authentic, rent a horse from the Mapuche community and go riding around the lake. • The town is fantastic. With streets circular, various accommodation and all surrounding the Lake. We stayed in the Natura Cabañas. Mauro is super attentive. The cabins are a luxury! And they have large windows overlooking the Lake and forests. Highly recommended.
