Pulenta Estate Winery, Agrelo
(4.5/5 based on 600+ reviews on the web)
Since 1912, the family-run Pulenta Estate Winery has been in the business of producing exceptional Argentinean wines. Owned by the family's third generation of winemakers, the undeniably elegant estate has a very luxurious feel, seamlessly blending modern design with a quintessentially rustic cellar feel. The winery is surrounded by parallel rows of vines unfolding as far as the eye can see, set against a backdrop of the nearby mountain range. Tour the estate and sample some of family's best wines paired with crackers and cheese. • Winery regarded as small. Visitation well explained and tasting great. One of the best wines: Cabernet Frank (cost-benefit)

  • We arrived late on the tour, but the US guide answered and cared about every detail so that our trip was not in vain. Earned my respect and admiration. Try the olive oil that is produced on a small scale.

  • Beautiful setting. Very good, distinctive wines.
  • Connie did an excellent job of touring our group through the winery
  • Very cozy and inviting tap room. The Estate Gran Cabernet Franc XI was by far my favorite -- the green chile taste was surprisingly wonderful. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and did not push their products on me during the tasting. Actually, I had to ask to buy a bottle of their wine.
  • Very rich wines, very good service. A winery to learn about
