Redcliffe Quay, St. John's

#3 of 15 in Shopping in Antigua and Barbuda
Walk along the promenade and enjoy the views of vibrantly colored buildings, turquoise water in Green Bay, and small boats and large cruise ships parked in the water at Redcliffe Quay. Once a trading place for slaves, rum, sugar, and coffee, today the quay features an abundance of brightly colored cafes, restaurants, and small boutique shops housed in old Georgian buildings, restored to their original form. • Had seen reviews where people were saying that it was rammed due to cruise ships so we got a taxi here from Galley Bay Resort when none were in. It was fine. Nice little shops selling tourist trinkets...  more »
  • This is a nice area to shop. Small and artsy with a good selection of restaurants. St John's cruise ship/touristy area doesn't have a large selection of shopping compared to other islands that I have ...  more »
  • Is the downtown area of St John's, you notice visibly Caribbean style of colorful houses, is full of shops of any kind for shopping. Some homes are under reconstruction due to the last hurricane of 2017. A ride you have to do it!

  • Duty free for all travelling customers when you want to shop. The atmosphere is nice and the people are welcoming. Great chill spot when with friends or even as a couple. Karaoke will be there Saturday nights. Nice ice cream. Restaurants that is normally filled with customers.
  • I put four stars instead of five because if you come by sailboat, the ground of the bay is not good for the ancre. But the city is pleasant to visit. The cathedral by example.
  • I love this place. Lots of choices for eating. I always choose Cuties re restaurant. The food is just damn finger licking, makes your mouth water for more. Cocktails are made with love I say because they don't lack anything. The foods are really reasonable prices. Honestly I think it should be even more expensive when you see the presentation plus your taste buds will be screaming with pleasure. There is no A.c because it's not hot. The lovely Caribbean breeze will cool you down🌟🌛🌜😚
  • I could be busy for hours listing and uploading all these beautiful locations at the dock side of St. John's But the spot has my attention for a spending of my time. Just have a look at the picture. that could tell a thousand words. do you agree. Enjoy Antigua, and be at the right spot.
