#4 of 6 in Sightseeing in St. John's
Pier / Boardwalk Architectural Building
Walk along the promenade and enjoy the views of vibrantly colored buildings, turquoise water in Green Bay, and small boats and large cruise ships parked in the water at Redcliffe Quay. Once a trading place for slaves, rum, sugar, and coffee, today the quay features an abundance of brightly colored cafes, restaurants, and small boutique shops housed in old Georgian buildings, restored to their original form. • Street vendors can be a bit pushy. Wi-Fi access is pretty limited, and when it's available, it's overpriced and capped at less than an hour
  • C&C wine bar with the children for lunch! Now that was divine! Service was a little slow but the food was worth the wait!!
  • Quieter than the other section. Nice views and some small shops.
  • Cute shops and boutiques, a good pizza place, coffee and ice cream parlor, close to where the the big boats berth.
  • Convenient shopping complex
