Long Bay, Saint Phillip Parish

(4/5 based on 200+ reviews on the web)
Soak in some sun and take a refreshing dip in the waters of the Caribbean at Long Bay. The beach, which features pristine white sand and clean, calm water, serves as the perfect for working on your tan, as well as snorkeling and discovering the local marine life. Local vendors sell souvenirs from wooden stalls, hire out jet skis and snorkeling equipment, and provide banana boats and tube rides for visitors to the beach. Snorkeling, fishing, and sightseeing trips also leave from the area. Make sure to bring your own umbrella or hire one from a local vendor, as natural shade at the beach is minimal. • The water is very nice. It wasn't an empty beach, but not crowded either. There's a place to eat there and about 15 minutes to drive from Stingray City.  more »
