Half Moon Bay, Saint Phillip Parish
(4/5 based on 260+ reviews on the web)
A curved stretch of crystal pink sand, Half Moon Bay represents one of the region’s less-developed coastal spots, giving visitors the opportunity to escape the bustle of busier beaches and experience their own secluded spot. A large reef helps protect the bay from the rougher seas of the Atlantic, and clear turquoise waters provide a good place for swimming and snorkelling. There are no sun loungers available here, so take a towel if you want to catch some rays. You can buy drinks on the beach from local vendors, but there are no restrooms here. For travelers who use our international travel planner, Freetown holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Half Moon Bay and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.
