Half Moon Bay, Saint Phillip Parish

Categories: Beaches, Nature & Parks, Outdoor Activities
Inspirock Rating:
4/5 based on 260+ reviews on the web
A curved stretch of crystal pink sand, Half Moon Bay represents one of the region’s less-developed coastal spots, giving visitors the opportunity to escape the bustle of busier beaches and experience their own secluded spot. A large reef helps protect the bay from the rougher seas of the Atlantic, and clear turquoise waters provide a good place for swimming and snorkelling. There are no sun loungers available here, so take a towel if you want to catch some rays. You can buy drinks on the beach from local vendors, but there are no restrooms here. For travelers who use our international travel planner, Freetown holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Half Moon Bay and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • Very nice beach, no shade, parking available. Toilets on site but you'll have to have a drink at the cafe for them to open the door.
  • The discovery of Half Moon Bay was magnificent, in the same location are the impetus of the ocean and the typical Caribbean calm. Walking on the left and at the bottom you will find a fantastic to entertain your children. I love this place and I go back every time.
