Stingray City, Antigua
(4.8/5 based on 1,500+ reviews on the web)
Take a boat out to shallow sandbars, abundantly populated by rays, and aptly named Stingray City. Thought to have been originally attracted to the sand bars by fisherman gutting and cleaning their fish, the stingrays still congregate here, though the fisherman have been replaced by tourists armed ready to feed them squid. Don your snorkel and you'll be able to pet, feed, and observe these amazing creatures as they move majestically around the water. You'll be standing in clear and shallow waters in the open ocean, and will be briefed on how to interact properly with creatures.
