Church Tourist Spot
Sant Joan de Caselles is home to the tallest church tower in the region. This 11th-century Romanesque church features a three-story bell tower, Lombard windows on three sides of the upper two levels, and a Renaissance altarpiece devoted to St. John. Set in a valley, the church's view of the mountains is quite picturesque. Be sure to call ahead to see when the church is open for visitors. Sant Joan de Caselles is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our world travel planner, Canillo Edition.

  • I hit that place upon a bicycle tour Easter 1998. A historic place. A bit outside the city. With the bicycle not so easy to ride up...
  • Beautiful old church
  • What an atmosphere!
  • The Church is small but beautiful, at least on the outside. Pity that it was not open. There is room to Park, free of charge (which in Andorra is rare) and to visit it with peace of mind.
