  • Recently spent a week in American Samoa, and visited the park headquarters twice. A small facility with good displays on what the park has available. I did a little hiking in the park as well, and there's a trail guide in the park headquarters and online. A few of the hikes listed in the online version are not currently available. NPS staff were friendly and accommodating.
  • This place is simply an island paradise. Beautiful beaches and scenery everywhere you look. And the best part about it is, there are no crowds. We literally had some of the most pristine beaches and hikes entirely to ourselves. Plus part of the park is learning about the Samoan culture, which is great, as you are treated like family wherever you go. Just for comparison, we flew to Hawaii after American Samoa, and boy was Hawaii underwhelming after visiting this place. American Samoa spoiled me.
  • Most beautiful piece of the earth found only in the South Pacific, green all year round and it washers, cleans itself naturally due to abundance of rain annually. Maintain and managed under the US National Park. A jewel of the South Pacific.
  • I like & i ♥ this place
  • This place has a history of it's own. With a romantic view with a beautiful sunset.
