Pont Sidi M’Cid, Constantine

Must see · Bridge · Tourist Spot
One of the seven bridges that cut through Constantine, Pont Sidi M’Cid stands 175 m (575 ft) above the ground, overlooking the ravine below and the city clinging to the mountainous terrain. The bridge connects the city to the hill, and remains one of the most recognizable spots in Constantine. If you cross it during windy weather, you will feel a bit of swaying--fear not: this is completely normal, and the bridge is safely secured.
