One of the seven bridges that cut through Constantine, Pont Sidi M’Cid stands 175 m (575 ft) above the ground, overlooking the ravine below and the city clinging to the mountainous terrain. The bridge connects the city to the hill, and remains one of the most recognizable spots in Constantine. If you cross it during windy weather, you will feel a bit of swaying--fear not: this is completely normal, and the bridge is safely secured. My second most favourite bridge in Constantine. Right up after Slimane Mellah footbridge. Either way, whether you prefer this one or the one I do, none of them is to be missed. Go up, cross it on... more »

Free transit, take photos, run, walk, cars crossing, forbidden on trucks and buses,.. everything is free Enjoy the view of the great valley and part of the city during the day. But I don't recommend.... more »
