  • Not as impressive as had originally thought. But still an interesting place to visit especially considering the history. The views were nice. Hard to get to without a guide.  more »
  • An exceptional view; on the Bay of Algiers. A well-known architecture from the french time to Algeria. a complete change of scenery and an open door has the nostalgia for a time that is now abolished.

  • Perfect landscape location with a panoramic sea scenario look out. Taking selfies inside the basilic is forbidden and there is a specific place to take normal photos if would like too. That's the annoying part.
  • Great location and good view. If you go there at the openinhmg hour which is 11:00A.M you will join the morning tour where the history of the basilique is told. Interesting thing about the basilica is the writings on the dome; "Notre Dame prays for us and the muslims" which is not commonly seen in other churches.
  • It's absolutely worth the drive, even during rush hour. Truly a wonderful homage to the multicultural diversity in Algiers and a beautiful display of late Byzantine(all though by French) architecture.
  • Loved the view, check open hours before heading up there. Great job on the renovations.
  • Great view of the city from this point. Also try to go inside, it is extremely beautiful on the inside as well.
