3.8/5 based on 300+ reviews on the web
Visit the site of an event that marked a historic moment for Albanian religious freedom at Et`hem Bey Mosque. The centrally located mosque had been closed by the communists, but in 1991, 10,000 worshippers entered the mosque for a service and the police didn't stop them. Enter the mosque to see mosaic trees, bridges, and waterfalls in vibrant colors. You must remove your shoes before entering the space; shoulders must be covered, and women must cover their hair. • Small mosque. Othmanian Decoration. I do Friday pray there it was crowded and a lot of Muslim do pray Jomaa. Alhamd Llah for Islam.
  • Don't miss this small, but beautiful, mosque with its floral artwork on the domed ceiling and walls. Be sure to notice the buildings in the art. The attendants here are very friendly, too.
  • Regular mosque in the city centre next to Plaza ... Located a stone's throw from the clock tower. see her
