  • Beautiful experience! Very recommended in Tirana. Everything is so well made, and the price is fair.  more »
  • Look and feel experience on Albania’s history. Disadvantage is that audioguide is not free and only in English or Albanese language, no other languages available  more »
  • The place itself was great and it is incredible how central it is, a stone's throw from Skanderbeg square, would totally recommend a visit. The problem started when I tried to leave. I had a...  more »
  • That is a very easy to reach very interesting museum about the socialist era Albania and the history of its security forces. The bunker itself is fairly big and very interesting. You don't get the chance to visit structures like that very often. Loved the mixture of history with the art rooms. If you liked that visit also the bunkart1 a bit outside of the city (but reachable by a city bus). It's quite bigger. 4€. friendly staff worth the visit.
  • Really informative museum about the dictatorship and the secret police. The bunker was never actually used, but the plans for how it could be used are very interesting. Sometimes the descriptions are a little confusing - I feel they could do with one overall diagram of the different police services, when they were set up, who controlled them, and their different purposes. It's hard to keep track otherwise. I would recommend it though, for a good background on how Albanian government was run in the mid 20th century.
  • Great location and an excellent site to learn about Albanian history. If you have more time I would recommend going to Bunk'Art 1 instead for a better learning experience.
  • This is always good to have museum for remembrance of the years of lies and killing of the communist dictatorship in Eastern Europe. Quotation like the one below were once forbidden in Tirana: The thief comes only so that he can steal and kill and destroy; I have come so that they may have life, and have it abundantly. "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. (The Bible)
  • We spent 2 hours here reading every single bit of information. It's a lot to take in. Every exhibit has an English translation so there is quite a bit of reading. Most people seemed to breeze past through everything but this depends on what you want to get out of the exhibit. The exhibit is thorough and put together in an interesting way combining video, murals, artefacts etc. The videos also have English subtitles.
