  • I found this museum interesting for a glimpse of a Berat's past household and lifestyle. Also it's good for views from the terrace.

  • Best attraction in Berat if you want to have a taste of the local architecture and culture.
  • Nicely preserved house in the middle of Berat. It was very interesting to have an insight on Albanian ways of living. Special mention to the curator who was there and answered all of our questions. We hope they will get the funding they need to preserve this national treasure! + very low entry fees (300 lek ~ 2,50€)
  • Good experience of delving into the customs and traditions of Albanians. You can spend one hour there before heading to the castle.
  • Must stop there on your way to the castle. It show the Albanian culture in a very interesting way.
  • Interesting stop on the way to the castle. It provides descriptions in several languages. The museum displays artifacts and old cultural rooms, which was interesting to see. For students the entrance is 90 ALL.
